Laguna Seca, School Bus Yellow, Low Miles w/ All Docs + Red Key

The 2013 Boss 302 Mustang was offered in a limited number of colors, and only 2 options were available for the top of the line Laguna Seca edition including School Bus Yellow which was not available on regular production Mustangs. Sterling gray accents also differeniate the Laguna Seca models from the standard Boss 302. As a revival of the legendary Boss 302 from 1969-70, the 2013 Boss 302 was a track-ready Mustang packing unique high-performance components—high-revving 444-horsepower 5.0-liter engine with special 4-valve heads and box intake, Brembo brakes, higher-rate springs, 5-way manually adjustable struts and shocks and the first-time use of a quad exhaust system with tuned side-exits for a more aggressive sound. Externally, the modern Boss stood out with "Hockey-Stick" style stripes like 1970, unique front end with splitter, blocked-off fog-light openings in the grille, and rear spoiler.

Named after the famed track where a Boss 302 won the first race of the 1970 Trans-Am season, the Laguna Seca was designed to be the ultimate track car. Improving on the Boss 302's already formidable performance, the Laguna Seca was shod with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa R compound competition performance tires mounted on unique machined aluminum wheels that were sized 19×10-inches at the rear. At the rear the Laguna Seca was fitted with even stiffer springs, larger stabilizer bar and the Torsen helical limited-slip rear differential was included. A chassis stiffening rear X-brace was installed in place of the rear seat and the front brakes received huge cooling ducts to keep temperatures getting too high during track duty. Rounding out the mechanical changes was a transmission oil cooler scoop.

This is one of only 765 Laguna Seca models built for 2013, with only 262 of those painted in School Bus Yellow , production number LS 221 showing just under 1900 original miles, is equipped with the Boss 302 upgraded Coyote 5.0-liter, 6-speed manual transmission and 3.73:1 gears. It is also equipped with the optional Recaro bucket seats and Torsen limited-slip differential. The Boss LS comes with the factory Boss 302 car cover, window sticker and the Ford-supplied Boss Owners Kit, which includes a poster, key fob, racing gloves, Ford “Remakes a Legend” DVD, and a copy of the Ford-commissioned launch book, “Mustang Boss 302: From Racing Legend to Modern Muscle Car.”
