1966 Mustang Convertible. True V8, "A-Code" 289 4V and 3-Speed Manual Transmission. The car is documented with an original door tag and original Fender VIN stamping.

The Warranty plate decodes as follows: Body: 76A: Standard Convertible, Color Code X:Vintage Burgundy, Trim: 26: Black with Black Trim, Date: 20L: November 20, DSO: Chicago, Axle: 1: 300:1 open, Transmission: 1, 3-Speed Manual. Car has what appear to be factory front disc brakes.

The interior appears mostly original, the trim and dash pad are beginning to show it's age but are presentable. We believe the milage to be accurate as stated on the title.

The 289 4V motor is in very complete condition and runs well, it still has it's original Autolite 4100 carburetor, it has had a recent tune-up and is ready for the road. The 3-Speed Manual transmission shifts well through all gears.

The paint is showing it's age and there are several imperfections as you can see in the pictures, namely on the front valence, lower door and trim edges. More pictures available upon request of any imperfection we could find in the paint. The undercarriage has several trouble spots that were not repaired when the car was restored.
